Wedding Updates.
Thanks to my Momma Faye, I was told people can’t register to leave me comments. That has now been fixed. I don’t like the layout of this site, so it will change at some point as well. On to the wedding updates.
Most importantly, the wedding is still on! Second, thanks to everyone who has been sending us gifts and response cards. Every day has had a surprise in the mail, and thats always a good feeling. Third, I thought we had taken care of most of wedding planning at this point, but it seems like the more we do, the more we see we have left to do. Today I put a deposit down on the DJ. Two weeks ago I rented the tuxedos. I still have to write my vows, get the alcohol for the wedding, arrange a bachelor party, pay the caterer, the DJ, the Photographer, get a marriage license, and show up. In other news, Megan and I have had some great news for Japan. While we haven’t received a definite “Yes, you’re accepted,” we’re pretty sure that we are and are starting to make plans for that too.
I’m not exactly sure the entire process we have to go through to get there, but I know it involves getting a visa, insurance, and housing arrangements. Honestly though, after doing this wedding thing, this seems like a walk in the park.
